Day 48 - Ride Like A Thriver

We woke up to a day promising us LOTS of laundry and scrubbing. We last cleaned it well 10 days ago and our laundry bags were bursting full!

We were VERY happy no one else needed to use the 2 washers & dryers!

We hang dry a lot of our clothes (commercial dryers are notorious for shrinking our clothes!) and it saves us a few dollars in dryer fees since we have to pay for them. (We are accepting donations to our “Laundry Fund” HERE 😆)

Today we had FIVE loads to wash!

Chuck met our neighbor Barbara. She and her husband have been living here 1.5 years. More and more, we are seeing RV parks fulll of retirees.

Chuck sent his drone up over the RV park!

It would take us almost 13 hours to drive to our end destination in St Augustine, Florida!

You are invited to join us as we celebrate on June 10!

Today was also “shave our heads” day. We upgraded to a Skull Shaver recently and, although not as shiny smooth as a razor, it is much easier to use and doesn't require shaving cream or make a mess (and doesn't nick you!)

We had yummy fajitas for dinner.

I finally got to meet Krys in person after meeting her on a Facebook paleo page in 2014! We have takes on the phone and texted and messaged over the years, praying each other through divorce, deaths, a cancer diagnosis, and difficult relationships. It was so special that she drove 1.5 hours to meet in personal n!
