Day 72 - Ride Like A Thriver

We got up early to drive the 6 miles to DeFuniak Springs to start our ride for today.

The ride began by going around this small lake

It was so pretty

We are realizing how close to the end of this trip we really are! Tomorrow is a drive day (so we can catch up on missing miles since the crash) and Thursday is our last real bike day. Friday will be the last 10 miles to dip the tire!

Chuck's ride today

When Chuck's arms began to bother him (he still has nerve issues in his arms and hands that have to heal) he hopped in the RV and we drove ahead to Tallahassee.

We looked for a restaurant and ended up driving through the college area and found a place to park.

Sometimes we kind of get a really round about direction to restaurants - we pray over as much as we can and asked God to lead us to whom He needed us to talk to. After a bit of an uphill walk, we bumped into Sarah & Kathleen - Art Professors at the local University! Kathleen’s friend was going through quite a challenge.

We realize God has us meet people to share our nonprofit which turns into encouraging others.

We were SO hot that we decided to go watch a movie to get ourselves in air conditioning!

We also decided to stay at a hotel with 2 beds so Chuck could sleep better!

It had lots of cute art

Sometimes ya just need to eat sushi in bed.
