Day 1 Ride Like A Thriver starts!
We got a great start at 9 am from San Diego. Our friend Jim rode the first 10 miles along!
Local Fox News 5 did a segment today at 1 pm!
Chuck & Hannah are figuring out a rhythm to meeting up with bike & RV and Jax is doing an amazing job napping his way across America.
Day 1 & 2 will be the hardest climbs of the entire ride so Chuck is pacing himself. He accomplished 26.7 by lunch time! (With a goal of approximately 50 per day)
The rain is chasing us today!

We finally parked at a campground in the pouring rain! We had the chance to try out the slide for the first time!
