Day 23 - Ride Like A Thriver

I kind of laugh that we call it Rest Day. It’s ANYTHING but rest🤣

Bike cleaning, filling up the water tank, loads of laundry, head shaving, pedicures, brushing Jax, and bathroom cleaning. And that’s just in the morning!

Jax is the ONLY one resting today.

A guy we met at the bike shop offered to take us out to lunch and drive us to run errands. His wife (we met her yesterday) is working today and he is retired and really wanted to offer his help!

That’s the tricky part about having an RV and hooking up - it’s easier not to have to undo everything for errands (it includes power & water hookup, leveling the jacks, and putting out the slide and then securing everything “loose.”

This man took us out for lunch, and drove us to Walmart and Sprouts to stock up! We spent almost 3 hours together after only meeting him at a bike shop yesterday. Terry has a huge giving heart and loves Jesus! What a joy to be blessed by him in such a very helpful way today.

Our checkout lady Brenda, also a ovarian cancer survivor!

We kept bumping into this beautiful little family in Walmart and they loved Jax and the stickers!

Even though it’s “just running errands,” we get to share the joy of Jesus and spread smiles everywhere we go.

Jax is exhausted!

Chuck shares information about his bikes.

After a busy morning & afternoon cleaning & running errands, we had a chance to rest, got pizza delivered for dinner (who knew that was possible in an RV park?!) and called it an early evening.
