Day 33 - Ride Like A Thriver

We woke up to clouds, humidity, and drizzle in the low 70’s. It’s been amazing how much variety of weather we have experienced in one month’s time through 4 states. I have a feeling we will be stuck in “hot and humid” for the next 6 weeks till we hit St Augustine, Florida and dip our toes in the Atlantic Ocean!

Why are we doing this ride? Many reasons….

“Live” from Chuck's bike

Today's ride to the next town with an RV Park was only 32 miles. Chuck rode straight through and we pulled into Bracketsville, Texas around noon. Before we turned into the campground we decided to fuel up. Our goal is to never go below a half a tank of gas.
We met Sherri in the parking lot and she lost her dad to cancer. We all were crying and hugging each other.

And we met Rocky & his wife who are escaping San Antonio for a quiet weekend.
And the park entrance attendant and then Nathan who checked us into Fort Clark - our RV campground is located inside a Fort!

Everybody gets a bracelet and a sticker and a beautiful God story!

And more kitties saying hi.

Jax looking cute

If it rains hard enough, Howie's windows leak a little so the beach towel catches the drips😆

We got our electric scooters yesterday and after charging them, tried them out in the parking lot today.

We tired Jax out with a few circles around the RV lot and he happily went into the air conditioned RV to sleep while we took off to explore the Fort!

Hannah cried when she was on the road for a bit. She can’t walk far and this method of transportation has given her the ability to explore again!

We love simple lunches in the RV!
