Day 35 - Ride Like A Thriver
Another rainy morning and we knew that we had to take care of the bike spoke issue today.
We googled the closest bike shop and it was 1 hour and 39 minutes away!
After breakfast and prepping the RV for travel, we headed on our drive through the rolling hills of Texas.
We arrived in Kerrville, Texas close to noon and drove around town. The bike shop opens on Monday so we looked for a place to eat.
Chuck noticed a Thai place that was open and we found it was right on the river.
After lunch we stopped at Home Depot for a few things. We met Trinity and Leo on the parking lot. Leo prayed healing over Hannah.
We found our RV Park and met our lovely neighbor Ruth.
We decided to try our scooters on the bike path along the river behind the park. Today, Chuck figured out how to attach a kid’s buggy (like we use on our bikes at home) so we could bring Jax along.
We met some great people out for a Sunday afternoon walk along the river.
Jax making friends
Jax needed a bath so we steered towards the splash pad!
The scooters have given us SO much more ability to get around and explore. Hannah can’t walk very far so the scooters have given her so many more options.
After our fun scooter ride we went “home” to Howie and heated up our Thai food leftovers. (We ordered extra so our day would be restful and no dishes or cooking required.) This food is some of the best Thai food we have eaten from Thai O’cha.
