Day 2 - Ride Like a Thriver

Today started freezing & wet & cloudy at 4,000 feet in the mountains and ended up sunny, windy, & in the 70s in the desert!

We pulled off the road and had a nice relaxing hour eating sandwiches, catching up on stories, and stretching

On TOP OF THE WORLD! (Chuck was checking if there was something lose!)

What did Chuck find in the desert near the Mexican border?

We accidentally drove away from our Chocks in the pouring rain this morning. Oops. Hannah wanted to say “Chuck forgot the Chocks” but he didn't do the driving this morning 🤣

So a stop in Walmart in Calexico (and they were out) but we got some sweet battery lighting for Howie for all of our boondocking adventures.

(boondocking means not using hookups like electricity or water when camping with an RV)

Jax HAS to say hello to EVERYONE!

When you have to still drive to the campground and there is an authentic seafood Mexican restaurant nearby, you guess at the menu that’s in Spanish and are pleasantly surprised at the Fish Ceviche Tostada! Wow. So yummy!

every minute is an ADVENTURE!
