Meet Chuck
With a larger than life personality, Chuck brings joy, encouragement and positivity everywhere he goes.
Chuck experienced complete healing from stage 4 cancer in 2015. Given only 3 months to live when diagnosed, with 90% of his bones affected by cancer, he had a divine moment of healing that changed his life miraculously. His story is incredible and can be found in his book Hi, I'm Chuck or by inviting him to personally tell it to a group of any size. It's a magnificent lesson of healing and hope.
Chuck has a heart to walk alongside those who are affected by cancer. He coaches out of experience and can identify with the patient having "been there" and "done that." He offers encouragement and hope from a place of understanding.
In 2022 Chuck road a road bike from San Diego to St. Augustine Florida to bring more awareness to Living Hope Cancer Foundation and inspire people to Get Up And Live.
Meet Hannah
Hannah was on a cancer journey for 7 1/2 years and utilized integrative treatment with both chemotherapy/immunotherapy and immune-building IVs. She had Triple Positive, ER/PR+ HER2-, and Triple Negative breast cancer (and most recently back to ER/PR+ HER2-) Progression in March 2020 resulted in a fractured neck, radiation which caused esophageal ulcerations and resulted in a feeding tube for 7 weeks.
In Fall of 2020, she was back to eating and exercising including jet skiing, zip lining, and kayaking! She experienced a small fracture in her lower spine in December of 2020 and a compression fracture at the L4 level in March of 2021 due to cancer progression to the spine. These fractures required an aggressive 7 hour spinal fusion and femur pinning and caused her to be confined to a wheelchair for 3.5 months. In July, she and Chuck co-wrote their latest book called “GET UP AND LIVE.”
By August, She was back to walking, kayaking, and riding on her electric bike!
In November 2021, doctors discovered 4 small lesions on her brain and she had brain radiation. In December, after feeling a nagging pain that persisted, she was diagnosed with a stress fracture of the right femur head and eventually doctors discovered that spreading cancer in her right hip socket was the true cause of the pain that was leaving her bedridden. Hannah had 5 radiation sessions to the hip and sacrum in early January 2022. In February she discovered that she had experienced 3 small pathological fractures in her pelvis and sacrum. After a month using a wheelchair and regular physical therapy, she is back to walking and doing house chores! March 2022, doctors discovered 5 new tiny lesions on her brain and did 5 more radiation treatments.
Hannah was the safety vehicle driver for a 3000 mile bike ride to support her husband Chuck and to inspire everyone to Get Up And Live through tough things in life. . They completed Ride Like A Thriver in 2022.
Hannah was the mother of 4 young men and having a nursing degree for over 25 years, she brought a lot of life lessons to her personal coaching. Having the experience of being the patient, Hannah learned how to advocate for herself and was passionate about educating anyone affected by cancer. She created a free video series titled “What To Expect With A Mastectomy”. Hannah’s faith was amazing, a learning tool for others around her and she lived her favorite verse Philippians 4:13. Every day is an adventure and a gift from God. Hannah passed away in November of 2022 not caused by cancer but do to the side affects of treatment.

After healing from stage 4 cancer with a grim diagnosis of only 3 months to live, Chuck found a higher calling than landscaping! Realizing that the power of his story could help others, Chuck began speaking to groups and audiences all over the country. He uplifts and inspires those undergoing similar life-changing battles encouraging them to live with a hope bigger than life.
Statement of Faith
We believe in Jesus as the only way to God.
We believe that the Bible is God’s word and we find life in it.
We believe it’s our role to help others know and love Jesus more.
We believe God created us to have relationship with Him and He loves to speak to us.
We believe God loves every person He created, and it would be wise if we did too.
We believe the Holy Spirit is in each believer and He reminds us and empowers us to live the abundant life.
We believe heaven is a real place and it is part of the reward for those that trust Jesus.
