Day 39 - Ride Like A Thriver
We decided last night that we might have to forego a little morning sleep after getting a tip from fellow campground neighbor Lori that Magnolia Table, Chip & Joanna Gaines restaurant was definitely worth the trip. It was only 12 minutes away and we did all our morning chores and unhooked the RV by 7:33!
If you haven't watched Fixer Upper, you may not understand all the details of this but as part of the show, Chip & Joanna bought this old restaurant in town and redid it. It’s very pretty and the food was very very good.
We especially loved meeting Luke who had his own beautiful God story and wasn't afraid to share it. He SO generously comped our breakfast! We are continually amazed on how God moves people’s hearts in generosity.
We stopped at Walmart for bananas and a few things and hit the road for San Antonio, a 2.5 hour ride.
Love you mom!
After locating the RV park we booked for 2 nights while Hannah flies back and forth to Phoenix for treatment tomorrow (Friday) we found some local food for dinner.
Chuck took Jax for a short walk and met a neighbor who was a paraplegic due to an accident when he was younger. His story was amazing and he shared how he worked with wounded and began to cycle!
Bobby Puckett inspired us today!
