Day 66 - Ride Like A Thriver

At last, we are escaping the Drury Hotel today! It’s been a wonderful 10 day stay and we feel so well taken care of as Chuck recovered from his accident.

We met SO many people including these lovely ladies this morning at breakfast!

After a 1.5 hour drive to Mandeville, we stopped at The Bike Path to check out their bikes and services.

Chuck's first time on a bike in 10 days.

We had yummy Flatbread next door while they added Chuck's eurobars, seat, and clips from his old bike to his new bike.

It all felt so weird and different.

After meeting a fellow diner, Matt, while celebrating his birthday, he suggested that we drive along the Lake Pontchartrain coast to view the beautiful homes.
